Mr Mohammed Jelloo M.B., Ch.B., Dip.Ch.(Orthop), D.MSK.(US).
Is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with over 42 years of expertise in treating bone, joint, and muscle conditions. He has been part of the UK NHS since 1993, working in the last 22 years at a consultant level, caring for patients with both urgent acute problems and long-standing orthopaedic issues.
Alongside his NHS work, Mr Jelloo is passionate about teaching. He has been a tutor and examiner for postgraduate Diploma and Master’s degree students at the Centre for Ultrasound Studies, allied to Bournemouth University, helping train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
He has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning, using advanced imaging machines and technique to quickly and accurately diagnose problems and to guide precise, minimally invasive treatments. This means patients often benefit from a faster diagnosis, less discomfort, and a more tailored treatment plan.
Mr Jelloo is committed to providing care that is thorough, clear, and centred around each patient’s needs. His goal is always the same: to help people get back to the activities they enjoy and improve their quality of life.
What shall I book?
If you book an orthopaedic consultation but decide to have one of our packages during the same visit, you’ll only be charged for the package you receive — nothing extra. Your appointment time will be automatically extended to accommodate the additional service.
Similarly, if you book a package but end up having only an orthopaedic consultation, you’ll only pay the lower consultation fee.
Bottom line: Don’t worry. Whatever you book, you’ll only ever pay for the service you actually needed and received. You’ll never lose out.
What is Musculoskeletal ultrasound scan?
This is a painless, risk-free imaging test (ultrasonography) used to assess orthopaedic conditions affecting the limbs, pelvis, and spine.
We have invested in two of the most powerful and accurate ultrasound systems available.
During your scan, a small amount of skin-friendly, water soluble, odourless gel is applied to the area being examined. The doctor then gently moves the ultrasound probe over your skin, allowing both you and the doctor to see the underlying structures in real time on the screen. This helps identify any abnormalities that may be causing your symptoms and supports an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.
Ultrasound guidance also enables the doctor to precisely target injections into the correct tissue plane and to plan the most effective management for your condition.
